Art Glass by Wells is proud to have been invited to help compile the first addition of The 2008 - 2009 Stained Glass Appraisal Guide. We were one of the thirty stained glass studios in America that was approached to answer an extensive questionnaire and it is the combined expertise of these studios that validates the Stained Glass Appraisal Guide. This book was made to help in the appraisal of stained glass specifically in places of worship. The insurance industry was in need of a guideline for the replacement value for the many stained glass windows that exist in America. The guide was painstaking complied by Gary M. Gray, Ed. D and Carrie Crow, which will no doubt be a invaluable tool to religious institutions and the church insurance industry.
